Massage therapy became an interest at an early age from massaging horses. I have been an RMT for over 10 years, graduating in 2010 from the New Westminster campus of The West Coast College of Massage Therapy from the three year program. This campus was the birth place of registered massage therapy in British Columbia, delivering competency-based Mastery Level Training in Massage Therapy. This training, combined with my massage experience that began in 2001 as a Shiatsu-Anma practitioner, lends a unique approach to the body. Although I no longer practice Shiatsu I still use the breathing technique to calm and prepare the nervous system, and some of the Anma techniques for added manipulation. My palpation skills are very finely tuned, and I am adept at locating issues in the body and facilitating healthy recovery and improved alignment and posture.
